Whole-brain, multi-sensory, real-time, teacher-directed and teacher-modeled training in language logic through the analysis of sentence construction (syntax). Appropriate for ages 10 to adult.
The Golden Grammar Classroom Online program is the fruit of over 20 years of Grammar instruction at Samuelson Academy in the San Gabriel Valley of Los Angeles, CA. Most educated people agree that phonics is the indispensable foundation for reading. But, in the present day, so many seem to have forgotten that Grammar study provides the indispensable foundation for logical thought, precision of expression, and, therefore, clear communication. Thousands of students—literally–have studied and benefited from this Golden Grammar curriculum developed by Mr. Samuelson, just as, for thousands of years, in cultures world-wide, students have ascended to great learning based on fundamental Grammar instruction.
DISCLAIMER:
Grammar study does not deliver quick, easy answers or results!
Disciplined Grammar study develops logic, recognition of pattern in language, patience, and respect for process.
The Golden Grammar Classroom engages students directly through reading, speaking, analyzing, copying, labeling, and drawing two-dimensional diagrams of sentence logic (syntax).
In this layered method multiple senses are engaged to achieve dual hemisphere, whole-brain learning: the deepest, longest-lasting learning that we retain throughout our lives.
tactile senses: copying, labeling, drawing diagrams with a ruler
aural sense: listening
vocal sense: repeating analysis and then initiating spoken analysis
visual sense: reading and analyzing sentence logic in linear form
visual/spatial sense: drawing two-dimensional representations of sentence logic
